Online Registration Problems:

11. I tried to register an account or register for an event but I am getting an error message and my application will not go through.

Usually an error message will tell you which field was not entered correctly. Fields with Bold Titles are required information while fields with Non-Bold Titles are optional. After successfully completing your registration, a message will appear indicating that your registration was received and an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you registered your account with containing a copy of your registration.

If you continue to have problems, please contact Carl Multon (Assistant Project Coordinator), cmulton@ku.edu, 785-864-9615, with details on any error messages you received that you were unable to resolve.

12. I submitted my information to create an account but never received an activation email. What do I do?

Some schools have junk e-mail filters in place that filter out spam e-mails. The e-mail sent by the Kansas Reading Academy might have been caught tagged as spam and not delivered to your Inbox.

First check the junk mail box of your e-mail application to see if the activation e-mail is there. If you did not receive an e-mail, please contact Carl Multon (Assistant Project Coordinator) at cmulton@ku.edu or 785-864-9615 to have your account manually activated.

13. When I tried to register for an event it told me I was not eligible to register.

Some events only allow a select list of schools to register when an event is first posted. These events will be marked as "Registration: LIMITED" on the Event Registration page for a limited time. If you attempt to register for an event with limited registration and are told you are not eligible to register for that event, the school you specified in your Personal Profile when creating your account is not on the select list. You may try registering for another event or the same event at a later date when registration is set to "Registration: OPEN" indicating that all schools are allowed to register at that time.

14. I have switched schools or positions since I registered my account or my school or position in my Personal Profile is not correct. Why can't I change my School or Position in my Personal Profile?

If you have changed schools or positions, please contact Carl Multon at cmulton@ku.edu or 785-864-9615.

15. I need to change the e-mail address associated with my account because I no longer use it or do not have access to it. How do I change it?

If you must change your e-mail address, please contact Carl Multon at cmulton@ku.edu or 785-864-9615. After it is changed, you can then login with your new e-mail address as your Username.
