Kansas Reading Academy

In order to register for the Academy you must first login on the left side of this website page..

  • If you have a user account, simply log in using your current e-mail and password.

    (If you have forgotten your password, changed schools or have moved, do not create another user account. Please edit your existing user account with the correct information or contact us, if you need assistance in updating your user account profile information.)

  • If you do not have a user account,
    you will need to create a user account in order to register for events or use the Online Academy.

Upcoming Academy Opportunities:

Title I Extended Academy

The Title I Extended Academy is for those participants who attended the 2007-08 Title I Kansas Reading Academy. Registration will begin August 25, 2008.

Title I Reading Academy

The Title I Reading Academy is for Title I and K-5 teachers from Title I schools who have not attended a previous Academy. Teachers from targeted-assistance buildings may register beginning August 11, 2008. Title I schoolwide buildings may register beginning September 1, 2008.

A half-day Pre-Academy session is an option for teachers who are not familiar or would like more experience with administering Running Records or Informal Reading Inventories. Teachers who use Running Records and Informal Reading Inventories on a regular basis will begin on the first full day of the Academy.

(Note: If you wish to attend both the 1/2 day Pre-Academy and the 5-day Title I Academy sessions, you need to register for each one separately.)

Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) Sessions

Three sessions will be offered for teachers who attended a Summer 2008 Kansas Reading Academy.
